Make a Difference in the Way Patients Feel Every Day

At SynergenX Health, we believe great healthcare is about more than treating patients — it’s about creating an experience where people feel welcomed, cared for, and confident in their health journey.

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Medical Assistant / Patient Services Coordinator to join our New Braunfels team. This is a unique opportunity to combine your clinical skills with your passion for people while becoming an important part of a growing healthcare organization.

In this role, you’ll be one of the familiar faces our patients see throughout their visits. You’ll help create a welcoming environment at the front desk while also providing hands-on clinical support behind the scenes. No two days are exactly the same, and your work will have a direct impact on both our patients and our team.

If you enjoy connecting with people, staying busy, taking ownership, and being part of a close-knit clinic team, this could be a great fit for you.

About SynergenX

SynergenX is an established and growing healthcare organization specializing in hormone replacement therapy and targeted wellness services.

What You'll Do

This is a dual-role position, giving you the opportunity to work across both patient services and clinical care.

You’ll help make every patient’s visit feel smooth, welcoming, and professional by:

  • Greeting and checking in patients with warmth and professionalism

  • Entering and maintaining accurate patient and insurance information in the EHR
  • Keeping the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Supporting scheduling and other administrative responsibilities
  • Helping maintain an efficient clinic flow throughout the day
  • Completing daily cash reconciliation and bank deposits

  • Performing phlebotomy and injections independently
  • Assisting providers with clinical procedures as needed
  • Operating EKG and point-of-care testing equipment according to protocol
  • Preparing lab requisitions and patient plans in advance
  • Rooming patients efficiently, with a goal of 10–15 minutes
  • Supporting smooth patient flow throughout the clinic
  • Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining exam rooms
  • Managing clinical inventory and supplies
  • Completing required clinical and operational logs
  • Handling and processing patient specimens according to laboratory protocols
  • Completing quality control documentation and instrument maintenance
  • Identifying and reporting issues that could affect testing accuracy

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
