Keep Things Running. Solve Problems. Make an Impact.

Are you the person everyone calls when something breaks, needs fixing, or just isn't working the way it should?

Do you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, staying busy, and having something different to tackle every day?

SynergenX Health Holdings is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our clinics, facilities, equipment, and operations running safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on, fast-moving role where no two days are exactly alike. You may be repairing a door in one clinic, coordinating an HVAC repair at another, helping prepare a new location for opening, managing vehicle maintenance, or responding to an unexpected facility emergency.

If you're someone who sees a problem and thinks, "I'll figure it out," we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

You'll play an important role in keeping our clinics clean, safe, functional, and ready for business.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Perform general building repairs, including drywall, painting, doors, fixtures, and other maintenance needs
  • Perform routine maintenance on building systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and assist with HVAC controls and related equipment
  • Respond to facility emergencies, including HVAC, fire, security, water leaks, and other urgent issues
  • Coordinate repairs and service calls with outside vendors and specialized technicians
  • Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance for HVAC, elevators, alarms, pest control, and other facility systems
  • Conduct facility inspections and identify areas requiring repair or improvement
  • Document maintenance requests, repairs, inspections, and completed work
  • Order maintenance supplies and materials with Operations approval
  • Manage scheduling and maintenance of company vehicles used for product transportation
  • Assist with new clinic openings, facility setup, and equipment installation
  • Assist the Operations team with inventory management and receiving shipments
  • Support warehouse operations, purchase orders, and inventory as needed
  • Work with Operations to ensure clinics and offices remain safe, functional, and operational
  • Provide backup support to other Facilities team members
  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the business

This Is a "Figure It Out" Kind of Job

We're looking for someone who is hands-on, resourceful, and doesn't wait around for someone else to solve a problem.

The ideal person:

  • Takes ownership from start to finish
  • Is dependable and follows through
  • Can prioritize when multiple things need attention
  • Stays calm when unexpected problems happen
  • Communicates clearly with teammates, vendors, and leadership
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Can work independently but knows when to ask for help
  • Enjoys solving problems and learning new things
  • Is comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
  • Has a strong customer-service mindset
  • Takes pride in keeping facilities looking and functioning their best

You don't have to know how to fix everything. We need someone who knows how to find a solution.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years of general maintenance experience
  • General knowledge of building maintenance and repairs
  • Experience using common hand and power tools
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry and general repairs
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Healthcare facility experience is a plus

No specific certification or license is required for this position.

Travel & Availability

This is a regional position with travel required.

Travel will primarily support the San Antonio/Austin region, but travel to other locations throughout the company may be required, including occasional nationwide travel.

Because facilities issues don't always happen between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, the ability to respond to certain emergencies outside of standard business hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.

Standard hours for this position are generally 40–50 hours per week, with additional hours as needed based on business and facility demands.

Travel compensation is provided in accordance with company policy.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on position. The ability to:

  • Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
  • Use hands and arms for tools, equipment, repairs, and maintenance
  • Work in a variety of clinic, warehouse, office, and facility environments

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Our Team

At SynergenX, we believe great operations start with great people.

We expect our Facilities team to live out our core values:

Compassionate Care • Unity • Accountability • Commitment • Continuous Improvement • Integrity • Efficiency

We value people who communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, take ownership of problems, and bring solutions—not just complaints.

Why Join Us?

You'll have the opportunity to work across a growing healthcare organization where your work has a direct impact on our clinics, employees, providers, and patients.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
