The MA/PSC Corporate Trainer role is designed for individuals who consistently demonstrate strong performance, leadership, and a commitment to developing others inside clinical operations. This position plays a critical role in shaping the success of our clinics by ensuring training excellence, operational consistency, and alignment with SynergenX standards.
⚠️ Role Expectations
- Travel will be a requirement to regional sites as needed - up to 50% travel should be expected
- Participates on special projects with Clinical Services & Training Department
- Stays up to date on company communications and assists with the distribution of technical information to the clinical sites and training working groups
- Completes & assists training courses and keeps up to date with latest standard company procedures
- Assists with compilation and submission of monthly statistics and data.
- Collaborates with Clinical Education Team in training new hires and/or training modification of staff
Reports performance progress to clinical education manager
Follows up with other trainers in tracking training progress - Utilizes and updates new hire training checklist
- Trains to standard new hires and established staff members the following primary medical assistant and client account manager responsibilities
- Floats to clinical sites as needed to cover absentees
- Can cover PSC by running the front desk full day if necessary
- Will assist front desk with tracking and collecting patient balances
- Open and Close batch
- Can complete Inventory without assistance (Amazon order, Supplement inventory, Henry Shein order)
- Balance EOD batches and trial balance
- Perform EOD closing procedures successfully

Qualifications
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
- High school diploma or GED required; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of successful experience with SynergenX as both a Medical Assistant (MA) and Patient Service Coordinator (PSC), with demonstrated proficiency in performing all responsibilities of each role independently. Candidates must possess comprehensive knowledge of the MA and PSC positions and be capable of training, coaching, evaluating, and serving as a subject matter expert for both functions.
- Demonstrated mastery of all MA and PSC workflows, including patient intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, laboratory processes, EMR documentation, appointment scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, payment collection, inventory management, end-of-day reconciliation, customer service, and clinic operations.
- Previous experience training, mentoring, precepting, or onboarding employees is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of company policies, clinical protocols, and operational procedures.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively educate individuals and groups.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support training initiatives at clinic locations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the company's electronic medical record (AdvancedMD preferred).
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach with Clinical Services, Operations, and Leadership.
Additional Essential Requirement
Comprehensive operational knowledge of both the Medical Assistant and Patient Service Coordinator positions is a mandatory condition of employment. The Corporate Trainer must be capable of independently performing every essential function of both roles at the same standard expected of clinic staff and must be able to effectively teach, demonstrate, evaluate, and coach employees on all associated workflows, clinical procedures, administrative responsibilities, and customer service expectations.

- Leading onboarding and training for new hires (MA & PSC roles)
- Supporting continued development of existing staff
- Ensuring all teams are trained to SynergenX standards and expectations
- Partnering with Regional Directors and Operations
- Tracking training progress and identifying performance gaps
- Supporting clinics operationally when onsite
- Assisting in refining and improving training materials and processes
- Conducting competencies, retraining, and lab-related validations
