Overview

Village Lane RX is currently seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join our team! Village Lane RX offers the opportunity to be part of a growing, patient-centered pharmacy that values quality, teamwork, and excellence in service. We are a closed-door, mail-order sterile compounding pharmacy located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, proudly serving patients across 25 states.

We are seeking a Compounding Pharmacist who will be responsible for communicating pharmacy goals and objectives while fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment. This individual must demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, promote trust and respect among team members, and ensure efficient workflow within the compounding laboratory.

Village Lane provides high-quality hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and exceptional patient care. Our mission is to make treatments accessible and convenient, delivering prescriptions discreetly to patients’ homes. We specialize in compounding a variety of medications, including GLP-1 formulations, bioidentical hormone pellets, estrogen and progesterone creams, and specialty face creams to help manage side effects of HRT. Additionally, we offer a range of therapies related to hormone replacement and weight management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify prescription medications prior to dispensing, including unit dose, compounded preparations, and shipment documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with federal laws, state regulations, and professional pharmacy practice standards.
  • Maintain oversight of medication preparation, storage, labeling, and inventory to prevent expiration or deterioration.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, quality control, and compounding procedures and guidelines.
  • Interpret and clarify prescription orders with prescribing practitioners when necessary.
  • Create, review, and verify documentation including master formulation records, batch records, compounding records, labels, and shipping documentation.
  • Conduct periodic audits of compounding processes to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound medication shipments with third-party courier services.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy personnel involved in medication compounding.
  • Perform in-process and final verification checks of compounded medications.
  • Ensure pharmacy logs, reports, and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Education & Experience
  • Texas Pharmacy License required
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience
  • Sterile compounding experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting preferred
  • Experience overseeing compounding operations and supporting patient care preferred
