What You'll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you'll help keep the clinic running smoothly while creating a great patient experience.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Taking manual patient vitals
  • Performing routine blood draws and venipuncture
  • Administering IM and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider
  • Assisting providers with patient care and procedures
  • Running in-house labs and preparing outside lab samples
  • Maintaining lab equipment and quality-control documentation
  • Helping with inventory, ordering, and supplies
  • Supporting front desk operations when needed
  • Building positive relationships with patients and teammates
  • Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR completion of a 180-hour externship
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred
  • MA or Phlebotomy certification preferred, but not required
  • Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
  • Flexible availability, including some evenings and Saturdays
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

Don't have your certification yet? That's okay! We provide two full weeks of paid training to help you learn our processes and succeed in the role.

Clinic Hours

  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Will have a weekday off if scheduled a Saturday
