What You'll Do
The Patient Services Coordinator is a vital member of our healthcare team and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and seamless experience for every patient.
From check-in to check-out, you'll help ensure our clinic runs smoothly while building strong relationships with patients and supporting your teammates. You'll be the face and voice of our organization, delivering exceptional service with professionalism, compassion, confidence, and positivity.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create a warm and welcoming experience by greeting patients, checking them in, and rooming them for appointments.
- Help patients navigate billing and insurance questions with confidence, compassion, and professionalism.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for explaining insurance coverage, Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and out-of-pocket costs in a clear and understandable way.
- Accurately enter and update patient information and insurance details.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, directing calls and taking messages as needed.
- Collect and process patient payments accurately.
- Monitor and respond to center emails, text messages, and faxes throughout the day to ensure timely communication and follow-up.
- Support account activities and help build strong patient relationships that contribute to an exceptional patient experience and customer retention.
- Complete bi-monthly inventory based on center needs.
- Keep snacks and supplements organized, stocked, and ready for patients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-friendly front desk and waiting area.
- Complete cash deposits at the bank twice weekly and maintain accurate daily End-of-Day spreadsheet records.
- Support clinic staff with administrative and clerical responsibilities as needed.
- Attend monthly, quarterly, or annual meetings and trainings as required.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and all company and clinic policies.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or front office setting is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to confidently and compassionately communicate with patients about billing and insurance.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computers and electronic communication systems, including email and fax.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
Schedule
Clinic hours are:
- Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Please note: This position requires working approximately 2–3 Saturdays per month.

Compensation
$21.00 per hour
