We're looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer with 2–3 years of professional experience who is eager to expand their technical skills while contributing to enterprise-scale data solutions. This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside experienced data professionals, gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, and help build the future of healthcare analytics.

This position works directly with our Data Engineering team and business stakeholders and requires daily onsite collaboration at our Corporate Headquarters in Northwest Houston.


What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT data pipelines.
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Support enterprise data integration across multiple business systems.
  • Build and maintain Power BI datasets and reporting solutions.
  • Monitor scheduled data jobs and resolve data quality issues.
  • Assist with Azure Data Factory data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Support Azure SQL databases and data warehouse initiatives.
  • Develop basic automation using Python.
  • Assist with API integrations and data imports.
  • Document technical processes, workflows, and data architecture.
  • Participate in Agile planning, testing, and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on enterprise data initiatives.
  • Continuously develop new technical skills and stay current with Microsoft Azure technologies.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2–3 years of professional Data Engineering or SQL Development experience.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience supporting or developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Working knowledge of Python.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, or Azure Storage.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Work Environment

This is a 100% onsite position located at our Corporate Headquarters in Houston, Texas (77070).

Candidates must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday beginning on their first day of employment.

Local Houston-area candidates who can reliably commute to our Northwest Houston office are strongly preferred.
