Bring Your Energy. Make Patients Feel Great. Have Fun Doing It.

At HerKare, we believe great patient experiences start with great people. We're looking for a friendly, energetic, outgoing team player who loves interacting with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a desk all day. You'll be greeting patients, supporting providers, jumping between front and back office responsibilities, and helping keep the clinic moving.

If you're dependable, personable, a quick learner, and genuinely enjoy helping people, we want to meet you!

What You'll Do

  • Welcome patients with a warm, positive attitude
  • Check patients in and help create an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door
  • Answer phones, messages, and patient questions
  • Explain insurance benefits, payments, and costs clearly and compassionately
  • Process payments and maintain accurate patient information
  • Support scheduling and daily administrative tasks
  • Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Help keep the clinic running smoothly and efficiently

Clinical Support

  • Obtain and document patient vital signs
  • Perform phlebotomy and injections independently
  • Assist providers with clinical procedures
  • Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing according to protocol
  • Prepare lab requisitions and patient plans
  • Room patients efficiently and support patient flow
  • Clean, stock, and organize exam rooms
  • Process patient specimens according to established protocols
  • Complete required clinical documentation and quality-control logs
  • Help maintain equipment, supplies, and inventory

What We're Looking For

We care about your personality and how you connect with people—not just what's on your resume.

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 6 months of back-office Medical Assistant experience or completed externship
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred
  • Friendly, upbeat, and comfortable talking with patients
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Reliable and willing to jump in wherever needed
  • Comfortable learning new technology and systems
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Detail-oriented while still maintaining a positive attitude
  • Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy clinic
  • Patient-first mindset and genuine desire to help people

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
